Elsen Price - 2020
In January 2020, a few months before lockdown prevented us all from meeting in the flesh, Elsen Price, visiting teacher and performer from Australia held a workshop in Edinburgh and gave a concert in Palmerston Place Church Edinburgh.
Elsen, currently based in Sydney, has specialised in solo performance, new music and collaborations outside western traditional music whilst maintaining a regular schedule of performance and recording with various classical, jazz and contemporary Australian artists. He has performed throughout Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan and the Czech Republic.
As a composer, Elsen won a silver award from the International Independent Film Awards for the Australian film 'Dead Sunrise'. He is also host of 'New Australia Radio' on Eastside FM in Sydney.
